Changes to Be the Manager in FULL

- New skin (Background) The most obvious of the new changes and something which may take some time to get used to. The light blue adds a bit more light and colour to the site while the layout changes with the main body of the post being to the left hand side while the member is on the right hand side. However we think it looks better like this and already …

    BTM Championship Season One

    ROUND ONE PREVIEW!

    Here Are The Weekends Fixtures

    Sunderland v Birmingham
    Bolton v Portsmouth
    Hull v Burnley
    Wigan v Wolves
    Stoke v Blackburn

    First Up:

    Sunderland vs Birmingham

Our first game sees Sunderland host Birmingham at The Stadium of Light in what should be a very entertaining game. Sunderland manager Nathan will be hoping that his side can pick up an early victory here. Whereas Birmingham who are in search of a new manager after the departure of Deano Hills. Luckily for them he has decided to stay on as caretaker manager and will be hoping to pick up 3 points here. Having looked at both teams it is clear that Sunderland have the better team and with the home advantage they should pick up the win here.

    Prediction: Sunderland 2 - 0 Birmingham

    Bolton Wanderers vs Portsmouth

Our second game sees Bolton host Portsmouth at the Reebok Stadium. Former Bolton manager Ash who has agreed a deal with Aston Villa to become there new manager has also decided to stay on as caretaker for Bolton. Portsmouth who are also in search of a manager havent had one yet and are currently being caretaked by James Powley. Having looked at both teams Bolton clearly have the better of teams and will fancy there chances going into this game

    Prediction: Bolton 3 - 1 Portsmouth

    Hull City vs Burnley

Our third game sees Hull host Burnley at the KC Stadium. Hull manager Ryan Keeble will be hoping his squad can start of with a win in there first game. Whereas Burnley boss Lewis Miller has been very busy messing with his squad and bringing in players he believes will get them out of this division. Having looked at both teams they look fairly evenly matched so I think whoever gets the tactical advantage will win this game.

    Prediction: Hull 1 - 1 Burnley

    Wigan Athletic vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Our fourth game sees Wigan host Wolves at the DW Stadium. Wigan manager Daniel Davies hasnt been very active on the site lately, but Wolves manager Daniel Mason feels its right to take a hoilday before the season starts to freshen up. This game I feel will be a one sided game with the away picking up all 3 points.

    Prediction: Wigan 1 - 2 Wolves

    Stoke City vs Blackburn Rovers

Our fifth and final game of the weekend sees Stoke City host Blackburn at the Britannia Stadium. Stoke manager George Waston is a good young manager who has build up his squad how he likes and is ready for the new season to start. Blackburn manager Todd could however spring a trap for Waston if he is not careful and his side shouldnt be taken lightly. This game could be another close one with tactics deciding the outcome. If Waston manages to sheet then I say Stoke to pick up all 3 points, otherwises Its an away win.

    Predicition: Stoke 0 - 2 Blackburn

    HULL V BURNLEY

First game of the season, we are up against a strong Hull side, managed under the improving Ryan Keeble.

I have messed around with my squad bringing in some new faces to the side who wont just battle for survival but will battle for promotion. We started with one of the weakest squads and we may have been written off early, so we have nothing to lose but plenty to gain.

Good luck Ryan and everyone else
