Burnley announce Lewis Miller as New Manager


After rejecting Blackburn Lewis Miller has been confirmed new Burnley boss, and he has said everyplayer is for sale.

He has already confirmed that he has signed Pascal Chimbonda from Blackburn and Michael Owen from Man Utd, who has just been confirmed club captain.

Well at first i was very disapointed after being offered Blackburn and not one of the teams i applied for, so i thought about it more, and more and came to the conclusion i may aswell test myself, so thats when i decided to join Burnley.

Yes youve heard correctly, i was after one of the big four, and i do kind of feel hard done by that inexperianced managers got given better jobs, but im going to build a team here for the time being. Thank you.

We are proud to announce young French midfielder Abou Diaby will seal a move to the club on Thursday on a loan basis.

I am an admirer of Diaby talent, and i spoke to the Arsenal boss only a few days ago about the deal and everything has been agreed on.
Position wise we had recently been using a diamond formation using Gosling in the defense formation role. Now he has left and Abou is in, he may now be used in the position.
Diaby is a big lad with alot going for him, and so is this club. My goal when i first got here was survival but now with the players ive brought in we're going for promotion.

In other new forward Robbie Blake has signed a new 6 month contract but defender Clarke Carlisle has handed in a transfer request as he misses his friends who have left the club and his preffered destination would either be at Blackburn with long term pals, or his beloved Arsenal or abroad away from English football.

ON LOAN FROM MANCHESTER CITY. In Ireland's brief stay with us he has earned 60 TAb, 175 PAb and 123 SAb. He has controlled the midfield nearly everygame. He has started seven games this season aswell as making two substitute appearances. He has made four key tackles, made sixteen key passes making three assists and has hit the target fourteen times scoring once. Hopefully he will carry on the success for us for the rest of this season.

ON LOAN FROM ASTON VILLA. During Young's time a Turf Moor he has been struggling to make himself our number one right back. Luke has started four games for us this season aswell as making one substitute appearance. His game time total overall isnt what he may have desired especially having other defenders play around 150 minutes more, but theirs still alot of the season left. In his six appearances he has earned 98 TAb making five key tackles while going he forward he is slowly progressing earning 38 PAb creating four key passes and 28 SAb having four shots at goal with no reward. Our targets for Young is for him to be a 12 and sign him WHEN we reach the Premier League.
